All petroleum by-products coat the skin like plastic, clogging the pores.  This interferes with the skin’s ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders.  It also slows normal health skin function and cell development, resulting in premature aging.  Used in many body care products (baby oil, is 100% mineral oil).  Many mineral oil derivatives can be contaminated with cancer causing PAH’s (polcyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons).  Manufacturers use petroleum, paraffin oil and wax because of the very low cost.
